Who We Are

The word KIMAS stands for Kitovu cha Maendeleo Safi formerly was referred as Kikundi Mwavuli Masasi. Established in 1993 and and officially registered in 2001 with its headquarters in Masasi Town council, Madaraka street , Mtwara region, KIMAS is a not-for-profit non-governmental organization with registration number 00NGO/R2/00060 registered under the NGO Act of 2002.

Target and Geographical Focus

KIMAS interventions and activities are designed to benefit children, women, youths, men, People with Disabilities, People living with HIV/AIDs, farmers, pastoralists and entrepreneurs as primary beneficiaries.

Secondary beneficiaries will include local government leaders, other civil society organizations and non-governmental organizations. All activities of KIMAS will be implemented in Tanzania mainland.
